Norwegian School of Economics (NHH)

Therese Egeland is a professor of organizational psychology at the NHH Norwegian School of Economics, with a particular interest in what happens when people come together to lead, collaborate, and govern. Much of her research focuses on leadership, team processes, and board dynamics. In her teaching and executive programs, she works closely with leaders, board members, and organizations seeking more than theoretical concepts, offering research-based and practical approaches to strengthening teams, boards, and organizational cultures. Her current projects range from boardroom dynamics and age-friendly leadership to examining how generative AI reshapes interaction, trust, and the psychological contract at work. Her ambition is to build brigdes between rigorous research and real-world practice, contributing to workplaces where individuals can speak up, develop over time, and address complex challenges together across leadership teams, project groups, and boards.
