Daniel Isdal Furset is the Secretary‑General of Fintech Norway, the national industry association representing fintechs across the Norwegian digital financial ecosystem. He leads the organisation’s work on policy, ecosystem development and strategic collaboration, helping strengthen the conditions for innovation and competitiveness in Norway’s financial sector. He has worked in fintech since 2019, with experience spanning startup development, innovation initiatives and industry coordination. Before taking on the role as Secretary‑General in 2021, he worked closely with multiple early‑stage tech companies and through them have been part of Fintech Norway since its inception. Furset also holds positions in the European Digital Finance Association, where he supports international cooperation and advocates for a stronger digital financial landscape across Europe.
