Bendik is the stage name of Norwegian singer-songwriter Silje Halstensen (born 1990), an artist known for her distinctive voice in the Scandinavian pop and indie scene. Blending elements of electronic pop, indie rock, and synth-driven soundscapes, Bendik has built a reputation for deeply personal and emotionally charged lyrics, often exploring themes of love, vulnerability, and inner conflict. Since her debut album Drømmen gjør meg ingenting in 2012, she has released several critically acclaimed records and earned multiple nominations for the Norwegian Grammy Awards (Spellemannprisen). Over the years, Bendik has established herself as a unique and uncompromising voice in Norwegian music, captivating audiences at major festivals like Øya and Roskilde while continually evolving her sound and artistic expression.
